      Can Taiwan build a submarine?

   台灣能建造潛艇嗎？

Over the past few years there have been several twists
and turns in Taiwan’s efforts to develop an indigenous submarine.

     過去幾年來幾經周折

台灣努力建立一個自己的潛艇。

According to a report published by the US-Taiwan Business Council,
Taiwanese approached submarine contractors and experts in at least three Western European countries
in the hope of obtaining the technology to develop a submarine.

   根據美台商業協會發表的一份報告顯示

台灣至少接觸三個西歐國家的潛艇承包商和專家

      希望獲得技術發展潛艇。


This news re-ignited hope that Taiwan would soon be able to build its own subs.

       這則消息點燃了希望

   台灣很快將能夠建立自己的潛艇。
