While some people rushed to be the first
to offer incense at a temple in the new year,
others were attracted by the lucky draws
offered by big temples
當一些人在新的一年趕到廟搶頭香，
有些人為大廟所提供的抽獎所吸引
While some lined up as early as on Lunar New Year’s Eve to take part in the “incense races”
held at some of the nation’s famous shrines, including the Fengtien Temple in Chiayi and
the Fuhsing Temple in Yunlin’s Siluo Township, where they competed to offer
the first incense stick for good fortune, others opted to visit temples yesterday
to mark the first day of the Lunar New Year.
農曆新年除夕
一些人早早排隊參加 著名神社舉行的 “香種族”，
包括在在嘉義的奉天宮
和在雲林西螺的復興福興宮，
他們競相搶頭香，
其他的人 則選擇參觀寺廟慶祝農曆新年的第一天。
Thousands lined up for more than 1km for the chance to draw a golden egg with cash
or pure gold in it at Zihnan Temple , a famous Earth God temple in Nantou County’s
Jhushan Township .
在南投縣的竹山鎮,
著名的城隍廟 紫南宮，
數以千計的香客 排超過1公里長的長隊
領取金蛋現金或純金繪製純金蛋。
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the more than 300-year-old temple,
prepared 1,688 golden eggs and thousands of dragon souvenir coins to distribute to worshipers.
在農曆新年的慶祝活動，
這座超過 300歲的老廟，
準備了 1688金蛋和數千個龍的紀念硬幣，
分發給崇拜者。

紫南宮只敢平日去..
年節去阿..塞車塞死囉..
我弟每年都要去"借錢"..."還錢"..
這家土地公開的銀行..貸款利息可不低..
(據說借600還1200是剛好.還6000是正常.還6萬大有人在.還6位數7位數的還不少)
堪稱全球之冠

ㄜ~~竹山鎮 球兄 的意思是有城隍廟及紫南宮嗎?是兩座廟宇嗎?
