kick off island-wide e-invoices
7- 11 便利店 將 開始全島 電子發票
The China Post news staff--President Chain Store Corp.,
which operates the nation's largest chain of convenience stores,
yesterday launched an across-the-board issuance of electronic invoices
at almost all its 4,700 stores around the island,
in line with the government's effort to usher in a new era of
replacing print invoices with e-invoices.

Also yesterday, director of the Financial Data Center under the MOF(Ministry of Finance),
said around 100 million e-invoices will be issued by the end of the year,
and the figure will expand to 2 billion by the end of 2012
and 4 billion in 2013.
昨天，根據財政部的財政數據中心主任，
大約 100萬張電子發票將在今年年底發行，
2012年 將擴大至2億美元，
2013 年 4億元。
MOF tallies indicated that print invoices have been issued in Taiwan for around
60 years, with a total of 8 billion paper invoices issued a year,
at a total cost of around NT$2 billion.
財政部表示打印發票已在台灣發行60年左右，
共發出了800億元的紙張發票的總成本約新台幣2億元。
